In this role, you will be leading a team of client success professionals supporting Samba’s suite of programmatic products for the EMEA region. You will work closely with leadership, establish key relationships with internal stakeholders across all cross-functional teams, and develop programmatic strategies and tactics across all channels to maximize the impact and value of Samba’s offerings. Externally, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, vendors, and agency partners by providing best-in-class customer service, focusing on growing Samba’s programmatic revenue. This is a period of rapid growth for Samba, a high-velocity team with an expanding book of clients and support requests. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who is willing to roll up their sleeves to be a player-coach when required, constantly adapt to new challenges, and continue to refine our culture of performance and excellence. \n
Responsibilities:
- Establish, build, and train a performance-based team with a laser focus on delivering customer satisfaction and ROI to achieve company revenue growth objectives
- Oversee the health of brand/agency relationships as a strategic advisor, guiding problem-solving discussions while demonstrating the value of Samba TV and providing innovative solutions
- Develop a team of experts on trafficking, campaign set-up, optimization, discrepancy management, and billing/reconciliation
- Partner with the Samba’s Revenue Org for the full life cycle of programmatic campaigns (planning + strategy, activation + troubleshooting, consultation + upselling/renewal)
- Manage and evaluate partner/vendor relationships to ensure we are leveraging the DSP, SSP, DMP, and engagement creative tech effectively for our customers and efficiently for Samba
- Identify and execute areas of improvement surrounding workflows, documentation, and best practices
- Be the final point of escalation for EMEA campaign fulfilment and/or client issues
Requirements:
- 10+ years experience, at least 5+ years building and managing a team (ad ops/data ops/technical account management/programmatic solutions, consulting)
- 2-3 years experience in technical account management, customer success, or a similar client-facing technical role
- Proven track record of building relationships with clients and managing multiple accounts with at least 3+ years of quota-carrying experience
- Hands-on experience in Ad Servers, DSP, SSP, and DMPs with the ability to resolve delivery, discrepancy, creativity, performance, and all other technical issues
- Proficient in CRM tools such as SFDC and Project Management tools such as Jira
- Deeply versed in the planning, buying, and evaluation of Programmatic platforms, suppliers, and strategies, including interaction with leading DSPs, SSPs, DMPs and Publishers
- Up to date on the latest and upcoming trend/tech in digital advertising, including video and programmatic landscapes and the ability to explain complex and technical issues to varied audiences, both internal and external
- True passion for operational efficiency, excels in breaking down data as granularly as possible and building processes from the ground up
- Exceptional analytical expertise in tools like Excel, Google Sheets, and SQL, and are adept at swiftly mastering various other tools and platforms
- History of spearheading highly complex projects and delivering results on time
- Must live within 50 miles of the Samba London office. Required in the office 3 days a week (Tuesday-Thursday)
