Job description: Safran are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Material Planner to lead our Material Scheduling team. The successful candidate will be responsible for spearheading the material planning activities, ensuring an efficient and seamless manufacturing process.

  • Leading and mentor the material planning team
  • Coordinating with various teams to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Implementing strategic plans to improve material availability and reduce stock shortages.
  • Providing team leadership and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Monitoring market trends to predict potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Participating in continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

You will be working for an international key player in the Aviation Industry|Safran Seats is one of the world’s leading suppliers of seating for passengers

  • Prior experience in a leadership role within the Procurement & Supply Chain department.
  • Good working knowledge or ERP and MRP systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and supply chain management.
  • Proficiency in using material planning software and tools
