Senior Physiotherapist at University of Birmingham

If so, you will be interested in applying for one of the three senior physiotherapist positions available at the University of Birmingham’s Centre for Movement and Wellbeing (MoveWell).

A trailblazing centre for movement and wellbeing, MoveWell is dedicated to elevating both physical and mental wellbeing to new heights. We offer a range of services and activities for various clinical groups, including musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiorespiratory, hepatology, oncology, and more. We also conduct cutting-edge research and translate the latest scientific advancements into practical clinical applications.

As a senior physiotherapist at MoveWell, you will:

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team in providing evidence-based practice from assessment through to pre/rehabilitation.
• Engage in service development and leadership, continually enhancing clinic offerings and service delivery.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across the university and beyond, contributing to our reputation as a centre of excellence for health research.
• Mentor junior staff and students, fostering an environment of learning and professional growth.
• Drive revenue generation through innovative service offerings and patient/client satisfaction.
• Assist with the clinical research and data collection that will be working alongside clinical activity.

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

• A physiotherapy qualification and current HCPC registration and relevant insurance indemnity such as CSP.
• An MSc qualification or be working towards one.
• Significant post-registration clinical experience in one of the identified areas of focus within physiotherapy, with a strong focus on pre/rehabilitation and/or injury assessment.
• A commitment to quality enhancement, research-informed practice, and continuous professional development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage with diverse client groups.
