Job title: Senior Pig Stockperson

Job description: We have an exciting new job opportunity for a senior pig stockperson to work on a farm in Devon EX22.

The successful candidate will join a well-established team within a forward-thinking pig enterprise. They will work predominantly within a unit’s farrowing section.

Our client is looking for an individual who:

  • Has good farrowing skills
  • Has pig husbandry skills
  • Is passionate about the pig industry
  • Has excellent attention to detail
  • Is willing to learn and get stuck in – the right attitude is key
  • Has high welfare standards

There is excellent potential for progression with opportunities in other departments, and ongoing training will be given if required.

Salary guide: £27,000 – £35,000 doe

Plus:

  • Family and single-person housing available
  • 32 days holiday
  • Workplace pension

Hours: 7 am – 4 pm working every other weekend.
