The Senior Private Healthcare Coordinator is responsible for supporting the Administration & Private Healthcare Manager with all private healthcare related activities across the hospital sites (Emerson’s Green and Devizes). This role is a permanent full-time role (Monday-Friday 9am-5:00pm) with a salary of £30,000 per annum.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting the Administration & Private Healthcare Manager to reach private healthcare OPA, cancellation, procedure and revenue targets with a desire to surpass and overachieve.
  • Supporting the Administration & Private Healthcare Manager to reduce private healthcare cancellations by ensuring the team are proactive in finding out the reasons and working to overcome them.
  • Reaching telephony targets to ensure a great customer experience and in turn improving customer satisfaction.
  • Using the CRM to its full potential to progress opportunities and track performance, regularly updating SLT on details of patients within the pipeline during weekly meeting.
  • Ensuring patients are moving quickly through their pre-operative assessment pathway, working closely with OPAT colleagues to highlight and remove delays where possible.
  • Regularly updating scheduling colleagues of demand and capacity requirements for private healthcare.

  • Experience in influencing and engaging stakeholders
  • Be proactive and have the ability to work autonomously
  • Excellent communication skills

Desirable:

  • Experience in a hospital environment
  • Experience in a sales role
  • Worked with Healthcode system
  • Knowledge of PHIN
