Job Description

The University has recently commenced a programme of works replacing our existing digital services system across HR, Finance and Procurement areas. This now provides us with an opportunity to reset our approach to how we manage the HR digital landscape moving forward both strategically and operationally; with the overarching aim to support the delivery of our university’s strategic goals and HR transformation plan.

The Senior Programme Manager, reporting into the Director of HR Operations, will develop a strategy to drive the successful execution of diverse, complex digital programmes, building digital capability and supporting continuous improvement across the HR function.

The post holder will be the HR product owner for UniCore (Oracle Fusion) acting as the key leadership contact across the functions and more broadly across the University.

The post holder will work collaboratively across departments, fostering relationships and advancing the digital agenda in support of the University’s strategic priorities. This role is integral to HR’s effectiveness and the overall student and staff experience, making a significant contribution to the university’s success. 

To be successful you will have experience of Oracle Fusion ERP implementation/systems, preferably within the Higher Education sector.  You will be highly experienced in leading strategic and operational digital solutions ideally within HR and have extensive experience of supporting organisational change, influencing and building positive sustainable relationships at all levels of the organisation.

This is a permanent opportunity. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours); however applications are also welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time (minimum 29 hours per week). Please specify in your application if you wish to work part time and the number of preferred hours.
