Salary: Up to £27,500 DOEWe are looking for a Senior Purchase Ledger to join our Finance Team.Buy it Direct is a fast-paced e-commerce retail business, due to our large size and turnover exceeding £300m, this role requires you to be organised and focused to manage high processing volumes.As the Senior Purchase Ledger, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day purchase ledger operations for our key accounts, ensuring efficient and accurate processing.The Role:
- Act as the primary contact for key suppliers, ensuring timely resolution of queries.
- Collaborate with internal teams to optimise service delivery and address client needs.
- Lead supplier meetings and maintain accurate ledger records.
- Conduct supplier statement reconciliations and ensure ledger accuracy.
Your Skills:
- Experience: Proven experience in Accounts Payable, preferably in E-tail/Retail environments.
- Expertise: Month-end close, account reconciliation, purchase ledger, and stock accounting.
- Excel Proficiency: Advanced skills including VLOOKUPs, statement reconciliation, and data manipulation.
- Communication: Ability to liaise effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Proactive Mindset: Structured approach to balancing multiple demands and seeking process improvements.
- Qualification: Recent AAT qualification preferred.
