Part of our Business Advisory Centre of Excellence, our Team has a proven track record of successfully delivering a wide variety of work with both property and infrastructure clients across the globe. We are seeking candidates with a broad and flexible skillset to complement our current team by offering business case, transformation or asset optimisation expertise across a variety of sectors in the Resilience Market, including Nuclear, Energy and Utilities. Our Business Advisory Team offer support to Mace Consult across the project and programme delivery lifecycle and the successful candidates will provide their expertise at the early stages of project and programme conception, working closely with our delivery colleagues to leverage learning from major programmes into the business case process.
You’ll be responsible for:
- Delivering HMT Green Book 5 Case Business Plans.
- Developing investment cases and/or programme business cases across major programmes.
- Financial and/or economic modelling.
- Managing multiple complex stakeholders on major programmes.
- Change and transformation work e.g., organisational design, organisational development, process redesign and efficiency.
- Ensuring excellence in client liaison and service, maintaining, and developing a professional relationship with key members within our clients’ organisations.
- Providing appropriate skills and support to business development – developing new business opportunities and working to support a range of bid activities.
- In depth knowledge of one or more infrastructure sectors (e.g., Nuclear, Utilities, Energy Transition, Rail, Highways, Aviation).
You’ll also have:
- We are flexible about your professional background but expect a strong specialism in at least one capability: change and transformation, business case development or asset optimisation. It is likely that you will have a professional qualification or chartership in relation to these areas and/or post graduate level study. In addition to your technical skills you may also have contacts across Government and in industry.

The nature of our work means you may be working on multiple commissions at the same time and have a fast turnover of short to medium term projects so you will feel comfortable adapting to different subject matter and environments. * As part of our Business Advisory Centre of Excellence you will be passionate about sharing your knowledge, upskilling colleagues and supporting the development of more junior staff.
