As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to children with diverse needs. You’ll work closely with the children and other team members to ensure their well-being and enhance their quality of life. You will provide a home from home environment. Responsibilities:
- To act as shift leader ensuring that the daily tasks of the home are completed and that the service the children receive is of the highest possible standard
- Develop and implement care plans.
- Assist with daily living activities.
- Promote independence and social inclusion.
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and external agencies.
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Caring for children & young people or working towards this
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach.
- Ability to work flexibly, including weekends and evenings.
