Responsibilities of the Senior Warehouse Operative:
- Carry out prestart checks on operational equipment, report any damage or defects to the Warehouse Management team.
- Responsible for delivery of goods in, in accordance with the company delivery specification and check for missing or damaged items.
- Accurately book goods into using the computerised system.
- Organise materials/items into relevant storage spaces accurately recording the stock location.
- Pick items from the warehouse and prepare and complete warehouse orders for despatch.
- Supervision of staff in absence of the Warehouse Team Manager.
Hours: Monday – Friday 11am – 19:30pm
Required Skills & Experience:
- In date license for a Reach Truck, Counterbalance or VNA.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Experience within a warehouse environment.
- A self-starter using your initiative to reach goals and solve problems.
- Analytical with great attention to detail.
