What will you do?

Lendlease Consulting is a 100 plus person business working with many Clients across the UK. We are primarily a company offering project, commercial, planning, construction, BIM etc management to Clients. We are currently recruiting for a Senior Commercial Manager with extensive infrastructure experience ( and NEC contract experience) to join our consulting business.

• Provide exceptional commercial advice to the operational leads to drive value from key supplier Contracts, and identifying the optimum contract strategy for capital works.
• Responsible for implementation of commercial risk management through review procedures and contract negotiations.
• Building relationships with supply chain partners, implementing supplier management strategies and monitoring performance and delivery.
• Responsible for providing commercial advice/support to the operational teams across the business.
• Ensure best commercial practices and support delivery by evaluating and responding to risk of contract re-opener events and opportunities for out performance.
• Manage contractual interfaces and correspondence ensuring prompt responses and meetings are documented, as required.
• The Guardian of core periodic and quarterly key supplier meetings, managing the agenda, recording notes and actions, ensuring that action owners are taking ownership of actions.

You will bring

• Ideally from an Engineering, Rail or Construction background
• A skilled professional with expertise across commercial management or quality surveyance within a similar industry.
• Able to provide advice as the subject matter expert in all things commercially related to the operation and deliver high quality solutions.
• Skilled Negotiator with proven experience in a commercial environment.
• Good financial acumen with an ability to analyse complex data and documentation with accuracy.
• Previous experience of building dashboards and visualisations using Power BI tools, advantageous.
• Adept in proactively finding solutions whilst constructively balancing the speed and quality of delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly across different audiences and at varying levels.
