Heathrow-Office based- 40-hour week -9.00am -5.30pm

Salary: £26,000 – OTE £30,000

Our client is a leading company in Ground Service Equipment Engineering that specialises in providing high-quality maintenance and repair services for aviation at Heathrow Airport is looking for a highly efficient and experienced Automotive Service Administrator /Service Advisor with at least 2 years recent automotive experience to join their successful team.
As an Automotive Service Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the company’s airside offices. You will be responsible for a wide range of administrative tasks, customer communication, scheduling, parts procurement, bookkeeping, and reporting. This position is vital to our daily operations and overall customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a service environment within the Automotive sector and will be able to demonstrate their ability to develop and maintain relationships with both customers and workshop colleagues. Preparation of timesheets and adding to excel spreadsheets.

Automotive Service Administrator Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries, and keeping them informed about repair progress and updates.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.
  • Adding jobs for the technicians/ engineers on to the company system
  • Inputting information for job cards and correct job codes

Scheduling and Repair Management:

  • Utilise scheduling software to efficiently book and update repair appointments.
  • Allocate workshop space and time slots for equipment repairs.
  • Monitor repair progress and ensure timely completion of all tasks.

Parts Procurement:

  • Coordinate with suppliers and order necessary parts and components for equipment repairs.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts orders and inventory.

Service Coordination:

  • Manage and coordinate automotive service appointments efficiently and assist with job card preparation.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by communicating with clients regarding service updates, quotes, and appointment details.
  • Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely completion of service-related paperwork and documentation.
  • Handle day-to-day administrative duties, including answering phones, managing emails, and filing documents.

Office Administration:

  • Maintain office supplies and ensure a tidy and organised office environment.
  • Assist team members with administrative support as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive customer experience.
