Job description: Are you an experienced logistics and shipping professional looking to take on a new challenge? We are currently seeking an accomplished Team Leader to join a leading manufacturing facility based in Bristol.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of export and shipping, including the supervision of a small team.

The ideal candidate should have previous experience working within a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing environment. You should be highly organised, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to work to tight deadlines.

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive salary of £38,000 to £45,000 depending on experience, and the chance to join a successful business with a great culture.

Your key duties and responsibilities will include:

– Supervising a small team
– Ensuring all shipments are processed and despatched in a timely manner
– Liaising with international customers and suppliers
– Overseeing all export and shipping paperwork
– Ensuring all relevant documentation is accurate and up-to-date
– Report relevant monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
– Manage and review forwarders to ensure best cost approach and service

In order to be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and experience:

– Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in manufacturing
– Excellent organisational skills
– Ability to work to tight deadlines
– Proven track record of working independently and as part of a team
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
