We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Data Warehouse Specialist to join our clients team in a dynamic insurance sector environment. Our client requires expert assistance in diagnosing and resolving recurring issues within their Snowflake data warehouse architecture.
Role: Snowflake Data Warehouse Specialist
Rate: £400 – £500 per day
Location: South Wales – Open to remote contractors
Duration: 3 months, potential extensions
Status: Outside IR35
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the current Snowflake data warehouse architecture and design, identifying core issues affecting performance and efficiency.
Develop and implement strategies to address and rectify identified problems, ensuring robust and scalable solutions.
Collaborate closely with the internal IT team and key stakeholders to understand specific data requirements and integration challenges.
Provide expert guidance on best practices for data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling within the Snowflake environment.
Monitor the performance of the data warehouse post-implementation, making adjustments as necessary to maintain optimal functionality.
Document all analyses, changes, and recommendations clearly and comprehensively for future reference and team alignment.
