Job description: We are looking to recruit SOC Engineers on behalf of a major client in the Defence industry.

As SOC Engineer, you will:
– support the transition of a SOC with expert security guidance and application of best practices
– provide strategic level advice to senior management regarding incident response, monitoring, logging and analysis of all relevant systems and processes
– lead the development, communication and continuous improvement of the cyber incident response plan
– define and lead on continuous development of a use case-driven logging, monitoring and response capability to ensure responsiveness and resilience to cyber security threats
– define the the cyber security operations strategy
Essential requirements of the role are:
– active/current DV clearance
– advanced industry standard SOC Security qualifications (SANS, ISC2 or similar)
– Tier 3 SOC Engineer experience (2 years)
– experience working with SIEM technology and SIEM engineering
