We’re looking for a versatile Social Media Manager to work with us full time to plan, create and implement engaging content on our social media platforms (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Oktopost – employee advocacy).

As a Social Media Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving customer demand, raising brand awareness, protecting the company reputation, and helping with talent attraction by managing all aspects of our social media presence.

Your creative and copywriting skills, fresh ideas and attention to detail will be integral to our company’s success.

What you’ll be doing

Social media are a core part of our marketing strategy and an essential communication channel to inspire new and existing customers to choose Clear Channel and Out of Home.

You will take ownership of bringing the Clear Channel brand and our purpose as a Platform for Brands and a Platform for Good to life across our social channels through visual and video content, compelling messaging, and an understanding of our tone of voice.

You will help to grow and engage our audiences, including advertisers, media agencies, council partners and job candidates, and make an impact with social content that stands out from our competitors, every day.

This role has scope for both strategic planning and execution of ideas, with plenty of opportunities to push boundaries, experiment and make your mark with highly visible contributions.

As our in-house social media expert, you will be part of our vibrant PR & Comms team and collaborate closely with all parts of the Marketing team and the wider business to generate and shape content.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on developing and executing our social media strategy, aligned with our wider marketing objectives.
  • Creating social media content including visual assets and video, supported by our Design team.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to plan and deliver social campaigns to showcase our advertising offering, infrastructure, sustainability, social impact work and people & culture.
  • Writing on-brand social copy, tailored to different platforms.
  • Monitoring and analysing social media metrics, evaluating effectiveness, and generating actionable insights to evolve our approach.
  • Seeking inspiration, sharing best practice, and keeping abreast of emerging trends and new platform features while testing & learning.

What we’re looking for

  • Demonstrated experience in social media management (3+ years) with a keen interest in all things social.
  • Excellent written communication skills incl. copywriting, editing and proofreading to ensure a consistent tone of voice
  • Basic visual design/video editing skills (e.g. Photoshop)
  • Highly organised individual who can juggle multiple priorities and stay on top of deadlines in a fast-moving environment.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends and practices that drive audience engagement, ideally within a B2B setting (but we welcome B2C experience too).
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively as part of the Marketing team.
  • Confident and proactive in communications with people across the business, including senior stakeholders.
