An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Social Media & Marketing Manager to join an independent lifestyle hospitality company in the heart of the West London. The client is proud of their strong customer relationships and friendly atmosphere and are looking for experienced Social Media & Marketing Manager who can meet the high standards of the client. Due to the demand to servicing their discerning clients and major expansion plans, they are looking for like minded individuals who have worked in a similar hospitality Social Media & Marketing Manager role to join their team on a permanent basis.

Job Description

As a Social Media & Marketing Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing and developing marketing campaigns & social Media
  • Conducting research and analysing data to identify and define audiences
  • Devising and presenting ideas and strategies
  • Promotional activities including app, website, PR, digital and print
  • Managing a small team
  • Overseeing and influencing external partners
  • Delivery of monthly board meeting reports
  • A good understanding of social media trends and technologies
  • Understanding the UK and trading environment
  • Market additional platforms that we have offerings on such as Design My Night for restaurant reservations
  • Have a similar hospitality marketing/social media background
  • Develop and execute paid social media and email newsletter campaigns to drive traffic
  • Compiling and distributing financial and statistical information
  • Writing and proofreading creative copy
  • Maintaining websites and looking at data analytics including Google
  • Build and nurture an active and engaged online audiences around the brand
  • Updating databases and using a customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Coordinating internal marketing and an organisation’s culture
  • Monitoring performance
  • Managing all campaigns on social media.

The Ideal candidate will be:

  • MUST have experienced in a similar social media & marketing role within hospitality preferably restaurants or late night venues
  • Be able to work within a small team and individually
  • Work closely with the sales design & product development departments
  • Be able to work in a high demanding environment
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends
  • Must be able to manage budgets
  • Develop and execute paid social media and email newsletter campaigns to drive traffic
  • Understand all about SEO (search engine optimization) & search engine marketing (SEM)
  • Being able to act upon different situations in a precise and professional manner
  • Able to follow clear instructions
  • Be commercially aware
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends
  • Utilize digital marketing analytics to track KPI’s & provide reports
  • Good telephone manners
  • Optimizing strategies
  • Leverage insights gained through social listening to adapt strategies
  • Used to dealing with reports
  • Being proactive and being able to think on their feet
  • Used to dealing with different types of clientele with customer service being the top priority

The ideal candidate will have great organisational skills along with the passion and commitment in driving excellent service to the clientele and a proven track record in a similar Social Media & Marketing Manager or above role.
