Job Summary This exciting Software Engineering Manager will lead a team of Software Development Engineers in the planning and designing of software and web applications to help improve our internal and external customer experience!
Job Description
What You’ll Do:
Responsible for leading a team of Front-End Solution Designers in the planning and designing of software and web applications.
Manages projects from discovery, design, through the development SDLC including new programs, enhancements, and modifications. Collaborates with Development Leads, Product Owners, architects, and other key delivery stakeholders to ensure programs and features are defined, solutioned, and delivered on time to meet the business vision.
Has overall responsibility for feature requests and solution standards for our organizational unit.
Manages team which may include exempt and non-exempt employees.
Provides leadership and subject matter guidance to employees as required.
Develops processes and procedures to drive department efficiencies and assists solution designers during feature reviews or other solution design sessions as needed.
The role will report directly to the Director of Software & Engineering within the customer employee UI domain for solution design.
Monitors and tracks project progress and reports findings to leadership team. Cross Project coordination and alignment. Partnering with Domain Architects to under target state architecture and managing team to meet these guidelines.
What You’ll Need:
Ability to resolve conflicts internal to the team and external with delivery stakeholders.
Familiar front end web technologies such as but not limiting to; Angular, React.
Experience of software development for high capacity, high traffic, high availability web applications.
Familiar with backend rest APIs, microservices, development, and testing.
Familiar with database relationships.
Familiar with Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
Ability to document and create artifacts such as sequence diagrams, and architecture.
Strong communication skills and be able cultivate and continue to build a strong culture within the team!

Education
Bachelor’s Degree
While possessing the stated degree is preferred, Comcast also may consider applicants who hold some combination of coursework and experience, or who have extensive related professional experience.
