Remuneration: £40,000- £45,000neg + 20% bonus
Benefits: £450-£500 car allowance and full benefits package
The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Precast Building Products will involve:
- Field sales position selling a manufactured range of high quality precast products into the national house build & residential market sector
- All of your time will be spent selling to (and protecting / closing specifications with) national house builders and civil ground workers such as: Barratt’s, Lovell Homes and David Wilson
- Dealing with order values ranging from £10k-£200k plus
- Adding to a sales team turnover or circa £10m, looking to rapidly grow in the coming years
- 70:30 split of time spent generating new business and managing and expanding existing relationships
- Working closely with line Sales Manager
- Will be required to use a CRM system
- Will be required to support with on and off site training
The ideal applicant will be Specification Sales Manager – Precast Building Products with:
- Must have construction field sales experience selling / gaining specification with National House builders such as: David Wilson, Barratts, Lovell Homes, Redrow, Bellway and Taylor Wimpey
- Must have cradle to grave experience following project through via contractors
- Ideally from a structural flooring, civils, concrete products however open for the right person
- Would consider people from any product background if you have experience selling to housebuilders or groundworkers (for example drainage and membranes)
- Ideally hold a CSCS card (not essential)
- Demonstrable track record of sales success and achieving targets
- Capable of working autonomously and work to deadlines
- Driven, ambitious, self-motivated and a genuine passion for sales
