Specifications Technologist will be working Days – Monday to Friday

Specifications Technologist Desired Skills and Experience
Quality/ Technical experience in food manufacturing and food degree is required.
Example of some duties
- Take a level of responsibility for raw materials and packaging to ensure approval and compliance
- Complete food safety risk assessments for raw materials and liaise with suppliers to capture all relevant information
- Responsible for the process of approval of specification approval and suppliers
- Carry out ongoing assessment of ingredients to ensure suitability and compliance
- Ensure all raw materials have an approved and active specification on system
- Work closely with manager to ensure that all suppliers either existing to the business or a new supplier/material to be introduced into the business has full/current approval status
- Support with BRC Audits
- Internal audits
- HACCP for site
