PLUS shift allowance, which is subject to change (figure as of 1 August 2023 is £4,195.33, pro rata for part-time staff). Shift allowance is only applied to specific roles within the University and therefore will not be carried forward to any additional roles undertaken at the University where this allowance does not apply.

If so, we would love you to join our team of Sports Assistants based at the Jubilee Sports Centre on our Nottingham campus.

In this role, we will support you to develop your skills and gain industry recognised qualifications to further your career in Sport. Our team of Professional Development experts will work with you to find courses, funding or programmes you need to help you fulfil your potential.

A team player, you will bring a passion for customer care and a desire to deliver excellent service to the role.  Working on a rota basis, you will, ensure the highest standards of facility operation, set up and delivery of activities and large events, as well as providing safe supervision of customers.

In return, we offer a competitive salary and benefits package, a generous holiday allowance of 26 days plus 8 public holidays, pension scheme and access to leisure and childcare facilities across our campuses.

Candidates will need to be flexible in their approach to their working week, noting that evening, weekend, and work over public holidays will be required. Core hours for the Jubilee Sports Centre are 6.30am to 11.00pm. 

This position is a permanent, full-time role (36.25 hours per week). Arrangements for part-time or job share will be considered.
