Serving our customers through diverse business segments, we offer challenging assignments on some of the world’s largest and most complex projects where our clients have come to value us because We Deliver.POSITION DESCRIPTION:The Biofuels Technology Manager will focus on KBR’s Biofuels technologies portfolio targeting the Sustainable Aviation Fuel market (SAF). Aspects of the job include marketing, business development, technology development, project execution, and customer support. The key focus is growing KBR’s share in the SAF market via our license business with alliance partner(s). Specific responsibilities will include:
- Lead business development activities for KBR’s SAF technology portfolio. Develop and maintain relationships with key client decision makers and executives.
- Interpret, organize, execute, coordinate assignments, and coordination with cross-functional teams.
- Apply and understand advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes for the KBR’s SAF fuels technology portfolio.
- Lead technology workshops, create high level proposals, develop and present papers, and supports global marketing events as a spokesperson for the business line.
- Maintains awareness and evaluates the state of the global SAF and Biofuel technology markets, advise on business development strategy, competitive positioning, IP strategy, and technology development.
- Provide support to the evaluation and execution of alliances and acquisitions of relevant technologies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BSc or MSc in Chemical Engineering or equivalent, MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10+ years CURRENT experience in relevant technologies including SAF or Renewable Fuel technologies (HEFA, ATJ, MTJ, FT, etc.), Biomass Conversion technologies (fermentation, gasification, pyrolysis, etc.), and/or relevant Refining technologies (hydroprocessing, oligomerization, etc.).
- Experienced in performing techno-economic modelling
- Ability to work in cross-functional and multi-cultural environments
- Must have the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and principles in both verbal and written communications to clients, peers, and KBR management
- Operational experience is a plus
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be willing and available for 25-40% international travel
