About the role and you:  We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the University’s Internal Communications team.

You will be a pivotal member of the Internal Communications team. Our role is to communicate with and connect colleagues across UWE Bristol (approximately 5,000 staff) and create ways for staff to have their voices heard. We develop and manage University internal communication channels, and advise teams and senior managers about how best to communicate and engage with staff.

You’ll primarily co-ordinate the day-to-day maintenance of the new staff intranet, creating, editing and publishing content, and provide analysis and reporting on usage. You will also contribute to the development and delivery of internal communications strategies and campaigns.

About you:  We are looking for someone with proven excellent communication and copywriting experience for internal audiences, who can create engaging, targeted content for a large and diverse audience on our staff intranet.

Applicants should also have excellent organisational and IT skills with experience of using CMS to create digital content and enjoy working collaboratively in a creative environment on multiple projects and  under direction from different project leads.

This is a part-time, permanent post for 12 months, working 22.5 hours per week, it is not available for job-share.

Interviews will take place week commencing 19 February 2024.
