We specialise in Utilities (Power, Telecoms, etc), Civil Engineering, Traffic Management, and infrastructure. We have grown our business on a foundation of expertise, teamwork, and excellent customer service.

Due to new partnerships, exciting opportunities have arisen for a Store Person for Banbury.

You will be responsible for ensuring that our Yard area is clean and tidy at all times. Assisting our Stores Person with movement and counting of stock. Loading and Unloading vehicles. Ensuring that Health and Safety procedures are adhered to at all times.

You must be a resident in the UK at the time of this advertisement and hold necessary paperwork to prove this.

As a Store Person, you will be responsible for:

· Loading and unloading vehicles

· Stock control of all Yard stocks, Waste Management, dispensing and recording Diesel and

· Gas Cylinder Stock

· Maintenance of Barriers and Road Signage

· Yard housekeeping and organisation

· Working together with other Staff members to proactively create a safe working environment.

· Conforming with all company policies.

Loading, unloading and order picking.

· Issuing stocks from Stores and Yard area

· Ensuring that all Yard and Stores stocks are recorded

· Loading and unloading supplier vehicles

· Moving and arranging stock both manually and using FLT ad Telehandler

Stock Control and Waste Management

· Rotating stock

· Liaise with Stores Person to manage stock efficiently

· Waste management and recycling where possible and keeping this area tidy at all times.

Health and Safety

· Comply with health & safety procedures at all times

· Report to the Build Manager any unlawful behaviour or hazards

· Maintaining a high standard of general housekeeping

Skills and knowledge required

· Self-motivated, ability to work as part of a team and on own initiative

· Good level of fitness

· IT Literate – Excel and experience of ERP systems desirable

Essential:

· Relevant KPIs must be understood and achieved

Current Counterbalance Forklift licence

· Telehandler experience

· Reach Truck, and working at heights

· Health and Safety awareness essential

Desirable:

· Knowledge of building, civils materials

Expected salary: £28000 per year
