Job description: DNA is excited to collaborate with a leading global retail industry player to find a skilled Strategy Analyst. This role presents a unique chance to wield significant influence on a global level by delivering strategic recommendations and providing project management support across pivotal areas such as eCommerce, Marketing, Customer Services, and Digital Services.Key Responsibilities:
Prioritisation & Strategic Management:

  • Assist wider Customer Strategy and business teams by providing relevant information and data to inform the effective prioritisation of propositions.
  • Proactively utilise commercial data to support Quarterly Business Reviews and other business planning cycles.
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration, including meetings and workshops, ensuring stakeholder alignment and engagement with the prioritisation of propositions.
  • Plan, initiate, manage, and independently lead various strategic projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Critically review and iteratively develop the Propositions Prioritisation Matrix to reflect evolving stakeholder and business requirements.
  • Craft clear and concise communications tailored to audiences at different levels and across different countries.

Financial Tracking & Reporting:

  • Own the regular global financial reporting of business benefits, ensuring accurate and timely reporting from countries on benefit realisation.
  • Collaborate with countries to enhance business cases and activities required to realise benefits.
  • Own the creation of Senior Stakeholder communications on Business Benefits, providing regular and ad hoc content.
  • Develop, align, and implement a process for future business benefit realisation following the finalisation of the benefit policy.

About You:

  • Bring your knowledge and experience of financial reporting to contribute to their success.
  • Previous experience working within an in-house Business Strategy Team or Strategy Consultancy is a plus.
  • Thrive within ambiguity and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills by asking the right questions and probing into critical business areas.
  • Possess intellectual curiosity and commercial awareness to drive innovative solutions.
  • Showcase a proven track record in managing and influencing a diverse group of stakeholders across different teams and levels in a complex organisation.
  • Build strong working relationships, anticipate stakeholder needs, and manage expectations effectively.
  • Understand business structure and strategic priorities, providing a bigger picture and forward-thinking approach.
  • Exhibit excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Showcase strong communication, influencing, and storytelling skills.
  • Pay high attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Demonstrate adeptness at collating, synthesizing, and analysing information and data of various formats from a variety of sources to glean key insights and inform recommendations.
