Different approaches, addressing different requirements, are needed to be threaded into a coherent narrative/ set of ways of working, to leverage the best result for BT Group.We are looking for individuals who will be responsible for high profile initiatives to unify strategic intents across BT Group in pursuit of providing a safer connected world.What you’ll be doingThe role includes specified areas of responsibility and the management of high-level strategic initiative which will be determined on a business need basis.Core elements of the role to include:

  • Commercial Security strategy definition & management, aligning strategies across BT Business
  • Market comparison & insight – assessing BT Security business and portfolio against market and competitor trends to provide insights to ensure competitiveness
  • Customer insight – Establish Market validation capability to ensure near-term portfolio development addresses customer needs and aligns with longer-term strategic direction
  • Analyst relationship: support engagement with Analyst community to ensure BT is well positioned, including input into action plan to address concerns called out by analysts and how that is compared with assessments of our competitors
  • Assess future trends to increase security convergence across BT Group
