Job description: You will be a current undergraduate student at the University of Leeds who is looking for a placement year opportunity as part of your degree.

This role will be based on the University campus with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.

We are looking for a student intern to join our busy Marketing, Sales and Communications team for 12 months from July 2024. The Facilities Directorate is responsible for the multi-million-pound development of the campus as well as managing the University’s commercial services such as our cafe´s and state-of-the-art sports facilities. Working with the digital team you will help produce innovative and creative digital campaigns that will make a difference to how students and staff engage with the services on campus. You’ll have a real hands-on role, working on all aspects of digital marketing from; generating content to post-production, giving you a real opportunity to make decisions and take ownership of projects.

You will have the chance to develop new skills, conduct market research and create your own digital content for our various digital channels. Supporting marketing teams across Leeds Sport, Residential Services, Catering, Campus Developments and Sustainability, you’ll be tasked with bringing to light the behind-the-scenes services that make the University of Leeds tick.
