Are you ready to join our team?As a leader in the aerospace industry, we have a number of exciting positions available right now, including Supply Chain Analysts.The successful candidate can expect to:Ensure the effective and efficient procurement of parts and materials for use in the assembly of our products. Support new product introductions and deal with day-to-day transactions and problem solving to ensure the supply of materials supports business requirements.Key Responsibilities (depending upon specific role within Supply Chain Department):

  • Responsible for ensuring the procurement of products based on required demands.
  • Working as part of a team to ensure the successful procurement of products across the supply chain base.
  • Maintaining on time delivery of parts to meet production requirements.
  • Building and maintaining productive working relationships with our wide global supplier base.
  • Ensuring on-time delivery of quality materials within budget to ensure continued customer satisfaction.
  • Performs data analysis to support purchasing, materials, shipping, and planning operations as required.
  • Interprets data and provides recommendations and / or defines trends that result in cost reductions, improved efficiency and improved on time delivery.
  • Ensuring the accurate and timely update and maintenance of systems and records.
  • New Product Introduction: sourcing, new supplier set up, pricing agreements.
  • Works to eliminate material shortages in time to support internal customers.
  • Tracks suppliers promise dating and performs rapid response when required.
  • Analysis, recording and communication of material availability and recommendations to Planning and Scheduling teams.
  • Communicates status of material shortages to internal and external customers.
  • Analyse the impact of engineering changes and manage the change implementation plan.

  • 1 years’ experience in a comparable role OR 2 Years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Qualified or working towards CIPS / CPIM qualification.
  • Experience and working knowledge of ERP and MRP (Materials Requirements Planning) packages.
