The Deputy Manager is responsible to the Supported Housing Manager for
the operational and day to day management of the Hollybank Supported
Accommodation site.
- You will work within the Hollybank team and be able to build on the existing
integrated working with health and social care and neighbourhood.
- Expert in the field of recovery-focused mental health care
- Using a Service User Centred approach and adhering to Trust Values
deliver service user care on a daily basis.
- Encourage and enable service users to promote their own health and
wellbeing
- Provide daily leadership to support staff in the delivery of evidence-based
practice.
- Actively support the Supported Housing Manager in the effective running of
the Supported Accommodation in their absence
- Support the Supported Housing Manager in the day-to-day running and
leadership of the Hollybank Supported Accommodation and community offer,
including deputising for the Housing Manager in their absence.
- Provide support, supervision and appraisals for selected junior staff, as
directed by the Supported Housing Manager.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with service user/carers and
families about complex matters providing a warm welcoming and enabling
environment to support therapeutic relationships.
- Develop Specialist knowledge underpinned by theory
- Working in accordance with the key principles of the Care Act, promoting
person centred and strengths based approaches.
- Working in collaboration with statutory health and social care partners to meet
Section 117 aftercare needs in accordance with the Mental Health Act and its
Code of Practice.
- Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the effectiveness of care and adjust the
