What will I be doing?
The role sits within the Sustainability Advisory division at Ipsos UK, and part of the global Strategy3 team.
Strategy3 is a key pillar of Ipsos’ future growth and we expect every one of our team to exemplify what it means to be collaborative, consultative, and courageous, not only ourselves, but to Ipsos and to our clients. You’ll play a key role in supporting the team to deliver our client engagements, with a focus on projects across the ESG spectrum (environment, social governance). In the past 12 months we’ve worked with financial services clients, food and drink manufacturers, and technology giants to name a few.
Under the direction of senior members of the Strategy3 team, this role will include the following responsibilities:
- Take complex, messy information and data and synthesise these into concise foresight;
- Support the delivery of proposals and projects;

- Attend face-to-face or virtual workshops in a note-taking or back-room technical capacity;
- Build project plans, creating timelines, and undertaking project management activities;
What do I need to bring with me?
The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of both left brain (analytical) and right-brain (creative) skills to bear on our client’s problems: someone who is as comfortable in building a technical model in Excel as they are building a beautiful slide deck in PowerPoint. Our approach to solving problems requires fluidity and comfort in ambiguity.
Skills, behaviours and attributes that we’re looking for include:
- Good at understanding clients’ business challenges and goals, and creating analyses that answer their key questions
- Curious about the world and excited to learn about new industries, products, and ways of seeing the world
- A willingness to think around challenges and cope with ambiguity
- A positive outlook when approaching new challenges
- Has a team-oriented mindset, supportive and encouraging of others
- Comfortable analysing qualitative and quantitative data
- Works at building relationships with the S3 team, clients, and broader Ipsos research community
- Able to build strong project management skills and ability to juggle multiple projects, comfortable working under pressure to tight deadlines without losing sight of the details
- Strong critical thinking
- Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal
- An interest in sustainability and ESG-related topics
Along with…
- The unrestricted right to work in the UK
