Join our growing team as an HR Officer in a pivotal role focussed on overseeing all aspects of the University’s recruitment and onboarding processes.

Working to promote a diverse and inclusive environment you will support with writing job descriptions and adverts, scheduling interviews, making job offers, undertaking pre-employment checks including visas and drafting contracts.

Having recently moved to a new application and onboarding system with iTrent, the successful candidate will also play a crucial role in supporting the roll-out and embedding of the new system across the University.

In addition, the HR Officer will also provide advice, guidance and support to staff and managers on a variety of HR related matters as well as working with the rest of the team on a range of projects to deliver our HR Strategy.

The successful candidate will be people orientated, highly organised and an effective communicator able to collaborate with different teams across the University. Ability to manage a competing set of priorities and working to deadlines are essential for the role.
