  • The successful person will work on a day-to-day basis with the Director and Senior designers and work closely with outside consultants and clients.
  • Sophisticated and practical understanding all phases of the design process, from concept design to completion.
  • You will be an excellent communicator, client facing and confident in your ideas and design approach.
  • Generate, develop, and exhibit design concepts for evaluation, employing suitable tools, software, and programs.
  • Produce precise design schemes autonomously, from initial concept to comprehensive construction packages.
  • Draft detailed design specifications with thorough understanding of technical aspects.
  • Formulate project timelines and budgets in alignment with client requirements.
  • Execute on-site installation and presentation of projects.
  • Manage workload across multiple projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
  • Assume responsibility for project correspondence, responding or delegating tasks as necessary.
  • Articulate ideas clearly and effectively, fostering understanding.
  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with suppliers.
  • This role would be for someone legally eligible to work in the UK

Skills Necessary for this Middle-weight Interior Designer Role

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
  • A positive attitude and ability to problem solve essential.
  • Strong client facing and presentation skills.
  • Confidence in ability to work to deadlines on all stages of the design process.
  • An appreciation for luxury design trends and keen knowledge of local suppliers.
  • Knowledge in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop are essential for this role.
  • Knowledge of London based high-end residential interior design desirable.
  • 3 – 4 years experience working on high-end residential projects.
  • Must have a degree in Interior Design or equivalent.
