Job description: This position is a critical and strategic role within the Accounting & Finance department of a health-care. The Tax & Accounting Manager will oversee and ensure the accuracy of tax and accounting operations, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
- Deliver quarterly tax figures for inclusion in the IFRS group reporting
- Liaise with the shared service centre to ensure UK VAT reporting is accurate
- Prepare accurate and punctual UK group tax computations for submission to HMRC, as well as local CIR return
- Initiate and process tax payments for UK
- Maintain the Taxrisk database and SOX controls
- Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax and accounting operations.

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- Professional qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, or ACA.
- Excellent knowledge of tax laws and accounting standards.
- Understanding of IFRS (in particular IAS 12)
- UK VAT knowledge and UK tax legislation
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organisation.
