The Role:

For September 2024, we are looking to appoint an inspirational and innovative Teacher of Food Technology to join our supportive and hardworking team. You will provide high quality teaching across the ability range at KS3 and KS4, using the excellent resources available to ensure there are high standards of learning and outcomes for all students. The Food Teacher role could be 0.6 FTE or if you are interested in a full time position please be aware that this would be dependent on teaching an additional subject.

This role is suitable for ECT’s and excellent support is offered through our ECT programme.

Our staff are committed to honing their skills through coaching, Teaching and Learning communities and using evidence-based approaches to create expert lessons. We believe that ‘Knowledge is Power’. We are currently using the Rosenshine principles and Teach Like A Champion to underpin our professional development and teaching through explicit/direct instruction.
