Job description: Teaching Assistant: SEN 1:1 SupportPrimary School – Full-Time Role – Working hours: 08:00am – 15:00pm – Paid £425-475 per week – November start!Are you passionate about the learning and personal development of others?Do you believe in equality for all and want to make a lasting positive impact on your local community?Would you like to gain valuable classroom experience, supporting a child with complex learning difficulties for the academic year?We are currently working with an excellent primary school who are eager to find a patient, friendly and resilient SEN TA to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a Year 4 pupil for this academic year in a full-time role.In this role as a 1:1 SEN TA, the successful candidate will be required to provide social and emotional support to a child with complex learning difficulties, working alongside a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants.Find out more about this brilliant 1:1 SEN TA role below!1:1 SEN TA – Role Information:

  • Planning and conducting 1:1 SEN support
  • Utilising commentary, praise and assistance to encourage task completion
  • Tailoring support around the provided Education Health Care Plan
  • Paid £425-£475 per week during term time only
  • Monday to Friday
  • Multiple FREE online CPD courses – SEN, Mental Health & Safeguarding

Applicant Requirements – 1:1 SEN TA:

  • Minimum 2:1 UK based university degree (Preferably from a Psychology, Education Studies or Youth Work degree)
  • Previous experience supporting children
  • Passionate about a career working with children with SEN
  • Naturally outgoing and supportive individual
  • Good organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with children
