Teaching Fellow in Communication, Media and Culture at Oxford Brookes University
Job Description
This is a fixed term contract for 1 years, part-time, 0.26 FTE.
The School of Education, Humanities & Languages at Oxford Brookes University seeks to appoint a new Teaching Fellow in Communication, Media and Culture. The successful candidate will have experience of teaching subjects related to Communication, Media and Culture at undergraduate level. The successful candidate must hold – or be close to the completion of – a doctorate in a relevant field. The successful applicant will teach on the modules ‘Understanding Media’ and ‘Culture, Research Methods’, and organise the work-related learning project. They will also contribute to other team-taught modules.

You will be responsible for:
- delivering beginner to advanced undergraduate modules in Communication, Media and Culture
- administering undergraduate teaching
- contributing to the development of the CMC programme
You should have:
- good honours degree in Communication, Media and Culture or a related discipline
- a PhD in Communication, Media and Culture, or closely related discipline, or close to completion
- experience of teaching Communication, Media and Culture or a related discipline at undergraduate level
- excellent team-working and communication skills
