Are you a Technical Author or similar with strong IT skills looking to make your mark heading up a new department within a long standing, specialist manufacturer offering industry training and plenty of autonomy within a technically varied role?

Within this role you will be supporting and developing manufacturing and process documentation by liaising with the Engineering and Manufacturing departments. You will be heading up this side of the business and will have the autonomy to implement procedures and choose the software you think would suit the company best. The role is office based, Monday to Friday as you will be collaborating with different departments to develop the documentation.

This design and manufacturing company were established over 50 years ago and distribute globally to the construction, agriculture, and materials handling sectors. They boast a turnover of more than £50 million and due to exponential growth are looking to bolster the company by introducing this new department.

This role would suit a Technical Author or similar with strong IT skills looking for an interesting, varied, and technically stimulating role for a global company you would be proud to represent offering the opportunity to pioneer a new area of the business.

The Role:

• Develop descriptive manufacturing and process documentation by collaborating with the Engineering and Manufacturing departments
• Working with the continuous improvement team to improve quality and efficiency during manufacturing
• Heading up a new area of the business and implementing processes and software
• Monday to Thursday – 7am – 4pm, Friday 7am – 11am.

The Person:

• Technical Author or similar
• Ability to interpret technical drawings
• Full right to work in UK
