SCOPE

As a Technical Lead you will play a key role in the success of strategic projects – The role can be defined by 3 key criteria: * Working with customers and business stakeholders to produce specifications, the formulation of architecture and to provide technical guidance that leads to the definition and creation of product documentation and requirements.

• Presenting these requirements to the software engineering team to set goals, assign tasks and prioritise work-flows that lead to the delivery of exceptional software, systems and services.
• Be a thought leader in the evolution of products, tools, methodologies and practices to modernise the team and increase performance and productivity.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an experienced Technical Lead from either a Software Engineering or Systems Engineering background.

You will be well versed in customer facing discussions, requirements capture and guiding customers through technical discussions around product and systems architecture. As such, you will be confident in discussions with people from end-user to board level.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

• Experience of Systems/Software Engineering practices, processes, methods, and tools; including requirements engineering and solution architecting.
• Deriving requirements on system components, to fulfil the customer requirements.
• Preparing detailed requirements specifications to control the development and testing of software.
• Experience/knowledge of complete Software Development Life cycle. Both Agile and Waterfall.
• Experience of software application development; life cycle, processes, and management.

Location: Bournemouth, Hybrid working, 3 days onsite.
