Technical Officer – Software Development at Leeds Beckett University

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multi-disciplinary and applied research team on a project that involves the development of an advanced AI-based Intelligent Golden Thread System for Building Safety Management (i-GBSM) to support responsible parties in compliance with building safety acts and regulations. The project involves the translation of guidance and building regulations from natural language documents to machine-processable format using text mining approaches. The system would be accessible through web interface for recordkeeping and analytic modules to spot non-compliances.

The position will require a mix of strong technical skills and solid domain knowledge in the area of software based on .NET framework. It is essential that the candidate demonstrates live examples of their projects that involved the use of C# or other relevant languages for the development of standalone software or plug-in system. You will have a relevant degree with an experience of software development.

You will join the School of the Built Environment, Engineering and Computing based at our City Campus and support our efforts in addressing real-life productivity challenges within the AEC industries through our cutting-edge and applied research.
