The Organisation
- A well-funded, progressive and unique automotive organisation is looking for a Technical Project manager to orchestrate several parties in the delivery of a C#, SQL and Azure data heavy platform. This role requires someone to work with a 3rd party development team, internal stakeholders and users to deliver a data heavy tech platform on time, to budget and scale.
Key decision-making in the job
- To work with teams in and outside of the organisation to get technical platforms delivered
- To define and manage project plans, controls and processes with appropriate stakeholders
- To use judgement in prioritising demands across stakeholders and activities with minimal supervision.
Main responsibilities of the role
- Use best practice project management methodologies to manage specified projects within a clear framework.
- Work with colleagues and stakeholders to scope, document and agree project requirements.
- Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for your projects including Project Canvas documents, briefs, specifications, GANTT charts, requirements/user stories and testing plans.
- Take responsibility for all aspects of project management and be accountable for delivery to agreed time, cost and quality specifications.
- Manage the end-to-end project process, building effective relationships, managing stakeholder expectations, translating their requests into tasks/user stories.
- Manage any change requests for the project(s) and advise on impact to project time line, budget and risk. Advise any impact to the overall programme and any dependencies impacted.
- Monitor progress whilst documenting, resolving or escalating risks and issues as appropriate.
- Coordinate and communicate with the external developemet team and stakeholders including leading weekly project meetings
- Manage all aspects of delivering a digital product/project including content planning, testing and launch planning.
