Job description: Our client is seeking an exemplary Finance Project Manager to take on an interesting assignment on a long term, temporary basis. The booking is likely to last at least six months.
Working alongside the Accountant, the Temporary Finance Project Manager will assist at an exciting and critical juncture. The organisation is intending to update all manual systems using Sage – the successful candidate will be key in ensuring a smooth transition.
To be considered for this booking, it will be essential you can work in the office, on a PAYE basis via our weekly payroll. The role will start at short notice, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.
Temporary Finance Project Manager Responsibilities
- Project manage the automation of manual Sage processes
- Maximise the capabilities of the software based on company need
- Updating policies proactively and professionally
- Enhancing internal reporting using Sage automation.
- Liaising with other departments to understand the reach of the project
- Working independently to see the organisation through the transition

Temporary Finance Project Manager Requirements
- The client is seeking a qualified accountant to take on this role, with extensive accounting experience and a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Candidates must be able to demonstrate previous experience with SAGE, as well as understanding its automation potential in a commercial setting.
- Exposure in a similar role where automation has been embedded will be key, as well as knowledge of accounts payable and financial reporting automation.
- Financial project management should be visible on your CV.
- Advanced Excel skills are crucial.
