Job description: Eager to hear from immediately available candidates, looking for long-term temporary/contract roles. Grafton Banks Finance are supporting an exciting, growing company with offices in the Redhill area. Our client is looking for a temporary ‘Accounts Payable Assistant’ on an initial 3 month basis, with view to be continue longer-term.
The role will be reporting into the Accounts Payable Manager, covering a range of purchase ledger/accounts payable duties, some of which will include:
- Reconciliations of supplier statements on a monthly basis
- Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
- Reviewing outstanding PO’s
- Liaising with finance to ensure the closer of AP is accurate each month
- Processing high-volumes of invoices. Scanning, processing, matching etc.
- Uploading invoices onto Excel
- Reviewing expense claims and processing payments
The successful candidates will:
- Be available on immediate or short notice, and interested in temporary work
- Have previous experience working across accounts payable, including high-volume invoicing and expenses.
- Have strong IT skills including Excel and ERP accounting systems
Expected salary: £25000 – 28000 per year
