Job description: Why do we need you ?Territory Sales ManagerAre you someone who is passionate about identifying customers, building relationships, and delivering on your targets?At Saint Gobain Abrasives we are looking for Territory Sales Manager to work in our National Sales Team, helping to deliver sustainable profitable growth and build sustainable long term customer trading relationships within an agreed territory to deliver the Company’s strategy.The Territory Sales Manager well be a part of a team of 9 Territory Sales Managers who cover the UK. This role will focus on the East of England covering key areas such as Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Peterborough and surrounding areas. You will have the support of Application Engineers, Key Accounts, and a dedicated Customer Service Rep to help you focus on delivering commercial success.Saint Gobain Abrasives is part of Saint-Gobain – Saint Gobain Abrasives provide a comprehensive portfolio of solutions for all abrasion processes.   • Experience of working in an industrial distribution sales background demonstrating career stability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Proven track record in B2B sales, preferably in the construction or building materials industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Results-driven with a passion for exceeding sales targets.

What you will be doing:

  • Increase customer knowledge / awareness of SGA’s products and solutions through visits to distributors, merchants, contractors, and other key decision makers; training; presentations; and supporting marketing initiatives.
  • Maintain regular contact and develop close working relationships with key personnel of existing and potential customer base.
  • Undertake the role of market coordinator for a sector of the business and being seem as the ‘expert’ in terms of market and sector knowledge.
  • Building up our standing within the industrial applicators, automotive after care and end user markets
  • Ensure full coverage of geographical area through effective time management and customer interaction.
