Here at GXO, we’re looking for a Test Analyst to join us on a full-time, permanent basis in our Central IT function. Working closely with the QA and Implementation Manager, you’ll provide confidence to the quality of the software product delivered to our client through appropriate testing procedures. This role can be based out of either Sherburn in Elmet or Peterborough

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Building test plans, writing test scripts and executing test scenarios on our warehouse management systems, predominantly using Blue Yonder/Red Prairie/JDA Dispatcher plus other systems
  • Get involved in defect management and reporting
  • Support the management team with any key projects, using your technical knowledge and experience as guiding tools
  • Communicating timely messages to the project teams
  • Leading or supporting projects from a testing perspective along with communicating timely messages to the project teams
  • Provide testing support for changes and fixes implemented by our central Applications Support teams in addition to providing Early Life Support, if required
  • Operational/UAT support and training

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse management systems, particularly Blue Yonder/Red Prairie/JDA Dispatcher, including UAT, SIT, functional and regression testing
  • Experience using project tools such as Jira
  • The ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders from across the operation and wider business, sharing best practice and aiming for continuous systematic and process improvement
  • Good industry, commercial and customer awareness
