We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Threat Intelligence Manager to join our team in Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to lead our threat intelligence efforts and play a crucial role in enhancing our cyber defense capabilities.Position Overview: As the Threat Intelligence Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing our threat intelligence program, providing strategic insights and actionable intelligence to inform decision-making and enhance our cybersecurity posture. The successful candidate will have a strong background in defense and intelligence, with expertise in threat analysis, intelligence gathering, and cyber threat hunting.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive threat intelligence program to identify, assess, and mitigate cyber threats targeting our organization.
• Establish and maintain relationships with external partners, including government agencies, law enforcement, industry groups, and threat intelligence vendors, to gather and share actionable intelligence.
• Monitor and analyze cyber threat trends, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) to identify emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct proactive threat hunting activities to detect and disrupt potential threats before they impact our organization.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including SOC analysts, incident responders, and IT teams, to integrate threat intelligence into security operations and incident response workflows.
• Develop and deliver threat intelligence briefings, reports, and recommendations to senior management and other key stakeholders.
• Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity developments, threat landscape trends, and intelligence methodologies to continuously improve our threat intelligence capabilities.
• Mentor and coach junior analysts to enhance their skills in threat analysis, intelligence gathering, and reporting.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Intelligence Studies, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience in threat intelligence analysis, with a background in defense, intelligence, or cybersecurity.
• Strong understanding of cyber threat actors, their motivations, and TTPs, particularly in the context of the defense sector.
• Experience with threat intelligence platforms, tools, and techniques for intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination.
• Familiarity with industry-standard threat intelligence frameworks and standards, such as MITRE ATT&CK, STIX/TAXII, and CTI.
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies in complex datasets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead cross-functional initiatives to address cyber threats effectively.
