Hours: Monday to Friday 36.25 hours per week
Salary: From £18,500 per annum
Hawk 3 Talent Solutions, operating as an employment agency, are currently recruiting for a new or part AAT qualified, Trainee Accounting Technician to join our clients accountancy practice in Barnstaple.
The successful candidate will undertake both practical and theoretical training whilst studying for their AAT qualification under an apprenticeship agreement. AAT is a professional qualification which can help you to achieve a rewarding career within accountancy and whilst studying Level 3 and 4 AAT apprenticeship includes learning the fundamentals of bookkeeping and accounting standards along with personal and business tax.
Our client will offer you support and mentoring throughout your training and will also fund the training and pay your normal salary on the days you attend classes or time in the office to study – as well as regular pay reviews!
Duties & responsibilities:
Gaining work experience supporting the team in providing a range of accounting and taxation services to clients
Preparing financial information, reports and returns for a wide range of clients, both businesses and individuals
Using computer software to record financial transactions
Prepare and provide personal and company tax computations, regular VAT returns and bookkeeping services
Information gathering to analyze and report information about income and expenditure to support decision making, planning and control
