Job Description

  • Job Title: Trainee Lead Auditor – IATF Automotive
  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Job Location: Field based- UK
  • Travel: Required as part of role to visit Client sites
  • Salary: £38,000-£42,735 + Company car or car allowance

As a Trainee Lead Auditor, you’ll be responsible for planning and conducting professional management system audits to enable delivery of assessment and certification services that meet client requirements and appropriate accreditation standards.

As part of the role, you will conduct audits (desk-based or on the client’s site) in accordance with established procedures, maintaining a high standard of service delivery that ensures effective client relationships.

Other aspects of the role include:

  • Provide accurate and timely reporting to assist the planning and management of operations
  • Enhance client satisfaction and ensure compliance with standards
  • Undertake personal professional development and ensure appropriate training records and personal logs are updated to maintain relevant auditor registrations and relevant industry knowledge

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Lead Auditor with a Certification background;

  • Qualified to Lead Auditor status in multiple management systems standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF16949 and qualified to the latest version of the standard (IATF Desirable, if Automative experience within Industry)
  • Have held positions with significant Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management system responsibility.
  • Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of ISO9001 and IATF16949
  • Have a varied breadth of industry sector experience, ideally across the automotive industry
