Job description: Are you looking for an exciting opportunity to join a busy transport team at a leading recycling plant in Chittening in Avonmouth?

Our client, a leading recycling company, is looking for a Transport Admin to join their team on a temp to perm basis focusing on driver and transport activities.

Job Responsibilities

As a Transport Admin, you will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring that drivers are complying with the company’s policies and procedures
  • Managing the transport schedule and coordinating delivery times
  • Ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date
  • Liaising with customers to ensure timely delivery of goods
  • Maintaining accurate records of all transport activities
  • Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Ensuring drivers are adhering to road safety regulations
  • Assisting with other administrative tasks as required

Job Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in administration
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and procedures
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Office

Salary:

During the first 12 weeks of employment, you will be paid £11.02 per hour, and upon successful completion of the probation period, you will be offered a permanent position with a salary of £23,000 per annum.

The role offers overtime opportunities that are paid between £16.53-£22.04 per hour, which is a fantastic opportunity to earn additional income.

Shifts:

You will be working Monday to Friday from 08:30-17:00
