Job Description

Oxford Brookes University is looking to recruit an experienced, reliable and highly motivated Transport Lead as a member of the Environmental Sustainability team to deliver a new car parking management system, and a range of travel and transport strategies and support services. The Environmental Sustainability Team play a proactive role within a motivated and innovative Department, delivering key objectives to meet directorate and university-wide requirements.

This is a role that will see high levels of engagement across the Estates and Campus Services directorate as well as other directorates and faculties in the university, external stakeholders, contracts and partners. This is fixed term post for 12 months.

Overall Purpose of the post of Transport Lead 
You will be responsible for the delivery of the new car parking management strategy, the sustainable transport strategy and associated travel plan, to lead in growing a culture of sustainable and active travel to enhance student and staff experience. This will include effective delivery, engagement, communication, support, monitoring and reporting.

Stakeholder and contract management of external transport and system providers working in partnership with the university to support the growing culture of sustainable and active travel to enhance the student and staff experience

Working hours for the post of Transport Lead:
This is a full-time post, typically Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but Oxford Brookes is supportive of flexible working. Applicants who would like to have a working arrangement like this are encouraged to apply for this post.
