Job description: Experienced Transport Planner required for a leading Facilities company. Previous experience within a transport environment required with flexibility needed for hours required.
- Responding to customer requests including emergency call outs
- Route planning and amending as and when required
- Booking accommodation and alternative transport
- Ensuring that the vehicles are ready for MOTs or PMIs
- Managing both in and out of hours requests and deliveries
- Providing excellent customer service to all clients
- Supporting various other departments including the sales team
- Ensuring driver compliance is meeting requirements including working time directive
Previous experience within the Transport industry is required|Alternate shifts for days and nights – 4 on/4 off
- Previous experience in a Transport environment
- Knowledge of driver compliance
- Excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work both day and night shifts
Emergency and Facilities supplier based in Colchester are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner for a nine month contract.
Hours are 4 on 4 off with rotating shifts of day and night shifts with an opportunity for hybrid working with your own phone and laptop.

Expected salary: £33000 per year
